• Pursuit of Dreams
Pursuit of Dreams is a non-profit organization comprised of leaders from athletics, business, and medicine whose mission is to provide the necessary assistance and guidance to individuals in order to fulfill their total mental, physical and spiritual goals. Pursuit of Dreams provides a complete intervention system that will provide people, especially those in transition, with the means of excelling as opposed to just surviving and is designed to meet the needs of the individual and not require a fixed structure.
Beverly Kearney, the president and founder of Pursuit of Dreams, began to understand and develop these principles in high school. Her application of these principles led her to one of the most successful coaching careers in the United States. She has served as Head Coach of Women’s Track and Field at the University of Tennessee, the University of Florida, and currently the University of Texas at Austin. Ms. Kearney has produced five National Championship and 16 Conference Championship teams. She has also coached a number of Olympic Medallists and has earned over 30 Coach of the Year awards, including an unprecedented seven NCAA National Coach Awards. This impressive track record is a direct result of Ms. Kearney’s unwavering commitment to creating complete competitors in body, mind and spirit. Pursuit of Dreams takes Kearney’s principles to an organizational level to enhance and apply them in various settings to various recipients.
